Winterlude 2019 A day of fun and listening to other bands. The two morning bands, Jubilee and Skylark, played in the morning. After a delicious pot luck lunch, Skylark and Odyssey played in the afternoon.

An Ontario Seniors grant enabled us to buy equipment and pay a Conductor to form a Green Band at Summit Terrace seniors residence.

On June 5 2018, our President Lorna Verhulst received a Community Betterment Award for enriching the social intellectual and emotional experiences of seniors through music at Peterborough New Horizons Band (PNHB).

On Friday October 28th, PNHB members attended a lively affair to celebrate music, friendship and the "spirit" of Halloween. Many of our happy members (134) attended and most were in costume.

On February 25, 2016, 54 playing members of the Peterborough New Horizons Bands headed to the airport for a trip to Varadero, Cuba.

During the weeklong trip, our band performed two, one-hour concerts for the crowds at the Breezes

The Survivors Abreast dragon boat team kicked off registration for the 2011 Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival at the Lansdowne Place shopping mall, February 15 -- and PNHB's Sax Appeal ensemble was there to provide the music. Team members in their black and pink uniforms announced that this year's fundraising goal is more than $270,000.
